Flow sensor
●
Disinfect for approximately 1 hour in 70 % ethanol
solution.
Leave sensor to dry in air for at least 30 minutes,
otherwise the remaining alcohol can damage the
sensor when calibrating.
●
The flow sensor can be reused as long as it can be
calibrated successfully.
●
Dispose of flow sensor as infectious special waste. It
may be incinerated at temperatures of more than
800
°
C (1472 ºF)
NOTE: All components to be processed are listed in
the care list for Julian on pages 114 and 115,
together with their appropriate disinfection methods
and intervals.
CAUTION !
Do not process flow sensor in cleaning and disin-
fection equipment or steam-autoclave flow
sensor.
Do not use compressed air, a brush or similar
tools to clean flow sensor as this could possibly
damage the thin wires inside.
