config igmp_snooping
Purpose
Used to configure IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
config igmp_snooping [ vlan_name <vlan_name 32> |all] {host_timeout <sec 1-
16711450> | router_timeout
|leave_timer
| state
[enable|disable] | fast_leave [enable|disable]}(1)
Description
This command allows the user to configure IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Parameters
<vlan_name 32>
−
The name of the VLAN for which IGMP snooping is to be configured.
host_timeout
−
Specifies the maximum amount of time a host can be a
member of a multicast group without the Switch receiving a host membership report. The
default is 260 seconds.
router_timeout
−
Specifies the maximum amount of time a route can be
a member of a multicast group without the Switch receiving a host membership report. The
default is 260 seconds.
leave_timer
−
Specifies the maximum amount of time in seconds
between the Switch receiving a leave group message from a host, and the Switch issuing
a group membership query. If no response to the membership query is received before the
Leave Timer
expires, the (multicast) forwarding entry for that host is deleted. The default
setting is 2.
