Usage Guidelines
The
show interfaces capabilities
command with different keywords has these results:
•
Use the
show interface capabilities module
1
command to display the capabilities of all interfaces
on the switch. Any other number is invalid.
•
Use the
show interfaces
interface-id
capabilities
to display the capabilities of the specified
interface.
•
Use the
show interfaces capabilities
(with no module number or interface ID) to display the
capabilities of all interfaces on the switch.
•
Use the
show interface switchport module
1
to display the switch port characteristics of all
interfaces on the switch. Any other number is invalid.
Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter

, the lines that contain

are not displayed, but the lines that contain

are displayed.

(Optional) Display the physical properties of a coarse wavelength-division
multiplexer (CWDM) or dense wavelength-division multiplexer (DWDM)
small form-factor (SFP) module interface. The keywords have these
meanings:

detail
—(Optional) Display calibration properties, including high and
low numbers and any alarm information.
•
properties
—(Optional) Display speed and duplex settings on an
interface.
•
dom-supported-list
—(Optional) Display the supported Digital Optical
Monitoring (DOM) SFP modules.
trunk
Display interface trunk information. If you do not specify an interface, only
information for active trunking ports appears.

(Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the
expression
.
| exclude
(Optional) Display excludes lines that match the
expression
.
| include
(Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified
expression
.

Expression in the output to use as a reference point.
