BUMPER
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
All Chevy V an fro n t and rear bum pers are o f a single piece
design. B um per a ttac h m e n ts are b rack et and brace to frame.
This section includes procedures for the rem oval and installa­
tio n o f face bars, brackets, braces and license plate support.
FRONT BUMPER

1. Rem ove n u ts securing bu m p er to brackets and braces
from left and right side. Rem ove bum per.
2. Rem ove th e license plate su p p o rt nuts and bolts.
3. I f necessary to rem ove th e braces and brackets: remove
screws securing brackets and braces to sheet m etal.
N O T E : T h e b u m p e r m a y b e re m o v e d w it h
brackets and braces attached.
Installation
Install in reverse order o f removal.
REAR BUMPER

1. Rem ove n u ts securing b um per to brackets and braces and
rem ove the bum per.
2. Rem ove brackets and braces from vehicle.
N O T E : The bum per may be removed w ith brack­
ets and braces attached if necessary.
Installation
Install in reverse order o f removal.
