9. Remove the bolts and the cover from the right rear ac-
cess panel.

10. Remove the hydrostatic drive filter (2) . Turn the filter
counter clockwise to remove.
11. Clean the contact surface on the filter head. Make
sure that all dirt and gasket material has been re-
moved.
12. Apply a thin coat of clean oil to the hydrostatic oil gas-
ket and threads.

13. Install and tighten the hydrostatic filter firmly to the fil-
ter head by hand. Do not use a filter wrench to tighten
the filters.
14. Install the reservoir filler cap.
15. Start the engine and run at 1000 RPM . Check for leak-
age around the filters.
16. Replace all panels and close all access doors se-
curely.
17. Operate the controls several times to remove any air
in the lines.
18. Place the attachments on the ground and stop the
engine. Check the hydraulic oil level.
19. If it is necessary to top off with more oil make certain all
pressure is relieved in the system. Remove the fill cap
slowly to release pressure in the reservoir, and add
