Settings for recording video to a memory card inserted in the camera. It is also possible to see the status of the memory
card.
For operations of the memory card such as execution of mounting/unmounting and formatting, refer to [System] > [Memory
Card] (P. 149).
Note
• Memory card videos can be viewed and managed using the Recorded Video Utility. For information on operating the Recorded Video
Utility and its downloaded data, refer to “Recorded Video Utility User Manual”.
• When a large number of files have been recorded onto a memory card, the Recorded Video Utility can take longer time to process the
video list in proportion to the number of files. Please reduce the number of days saved in [Auto Video Delete], or manually delete
unnecessary files with the Recorded Video Utility, on a regular basis.
Also, if a video stream with H.264 or H.265 video format is specified, the number of video files can be reduced compared to recording
with a JPEG stream specified.
• For the supported memory cards and insertion and removal of the cards, refer to the "Installation Guide".
• When the memory card used in the camera for the first time, format the memory card first, after inserting it into the camera (P. 149).
Video Record Settings
Set whether to record the camera video to a memory card or upload it via FTP or HTTP.
These can also be set with [Video Record] > [Upload] (P. 95) and will be reflected in [Video Record Settings] here.

Select the video to be used for memory card recording from the video stream set in [Video] > [Video].
[Video Record] > [Memory Card Recording]
Important
• Information recorded to the memory card may be regarded as “personal information”. Take sufficient precautions for handling this
information when releasing the camera to third parties for disposal, transfer or repair.
• For using memory card recording, the following settings are required according to each event.
– [Video Record] settings in [Event] > [External Device] (P. 122), [Timer] (P. 125) and [Linked Event] (P. 128)
– [Video Record] settings in [Detection] > [Audio Detection] (P. 105)
– Settings in the [Event] tab of the Intelligent Function (P. 119).
• When recording to the memory card, do not change the settings in the Settings page. Doing so may stop the operation.
• When both memory card recording and text/video e-mail notification are used, set the video stream to be selected in [Video Type] to a
small size.
• If memory card recording or mail notification is set to be executed continuously, video recording or mail transmission may not be
possible depending on the size of the video or the writing speed of the memory card.
