Note
• Focusing may be difficult for the following types of subjects in [Auto] or [One-shot AF].
Difficult to focus objects
• It is recommended to check that the camera is focused after rebooting.
• For information about the focus range (approx.), refer to "Specifications."
• When [Fixed at Infinity] is selected and an external infrared illumination device is used, subjects that were originally in focus on visible
light may not be in focus.
[One-shot AF]
Use when [Focus] is set to [Manual]. By clicking [Exec], the camera will focus once using autofocus and then switch to
manual.
[Adjust Focus]
If the [Focus] is set to [Manual], click and hold the [Near] and [Far] buttons to adjust the focus position in the near and far
directions respectively.
White Balance
Settings for the white balance.
[Add to Presets]
When adding the settings for [White Balance] to preset, click [Add].
[White Balance]
Select the white balance according to the light source to achieve natural color in the video.
[Auto]
Automatically adjusts the white balance.
[Manual]
Operate [One-shot WB], [R Gain], and [B Gain] to manually set the white balance.
[Daylight Fluorescent] (approx. 6100 K to 6600 K)
Select this when capturing under a daylight fluorescent lamp.
Important
• When the subject has only one color, is under low light conditions, or when sodium lamps, mercury lamps or certain other fluorescent
lighting is used, [Auto] may not adjust colors appropriately.
• If [Auto] is set, and the screen appears greenish under mercury lamps, select [Mercury Lamp]. If the colors of the screen are not
appropriate under a mercury lamp even if [Mercury Lamp] is selected, select [Manual] and use [One-shot WB].
• Since the light source selection options are based on representative characteristics, appropriate colors may not be achieved
depending on the available light source. If this occurs, select [Manual] and use the [One-shot WB].
