ettings Name (within 64 half-width alphanumeric characters)]
Detection Settings Name is set. If both are entered, [Detection Settings Name (within 64 characters)] takes precedence.
Detection Area, Detection Line
Refer to “Setting Area or Line” (P. 116).
[Display Color]
Able to change the color of the detection area and detection line.
[Passing Direction]
Able to set which direction an object surpasses the detection line to consider it as passing. The selected passing direction
is displayed as a preview on the detection line in the video display area.
[Duration (
S
ec)]
The elapsed time is set for the object’s placement in abandoned object detection, and the object’s intrusion in intrusion
detection, before determining that it is abandoned/intrusion.
[Decision Point]
Set which position of the object is used to determine as passing or intrusion. The decision point is indicated by a cross on
the detection frame of the object.
[Object Height (%)], [Object Width (%)]
The height and width of the object are used to set the size of the objects to be detected in the set detection area. When the
setting values or slider is changed, an indicator representing the object size is shown for one second in the video display
area allowing the user to check the size ratio while specifying the setting.
Note
• A ratio of up to 80% can be set in [Object Height (%)], [Object Width (%)] for passing detection.
[Change Ratio (%)]
Able to set the ratio of screen change for the entire video display area to determine as tampering detection. When the
numerical value slider is changed, an indicator representing the ratio against the entire video display area is shown for one
second in the center of the video display area allowing to check while specifying the setting.
Note
• Review the [Change Ratio (%])] when the settings of [Video] > [Preset] > [Exposure/Compensation] > [Use WDR] are changed.
[Detection Precision]
Able to set the numeric value for determining the face likelihood of a person. The higher the number, the more difficult it is to
identify the face as that of a person.
Setting Area or Line
The detection area, non-detection area and the line for passing detection are set by clicking video display area.
Area Setting
The detection and non-detection areas are specified by creating up to 8 vertex polygons.
Click on video display area to create polygon’s vertex. Place the vertices in order, then either click the first vertex
again or double-click the last vertex to create the polygon detection area. Also, drag the area to move it, and drag the
vertices to reshape it.
Click [Clear Area] to delete the detection area that has been set.
