Settings for sending an e-mail notification to a specified recipient when an event is triggered.
E-mail Notification
Set the mail server to be used for e-mail notifications and the content of the e-mail to be sent.
[Notification]
Text is [Subject] and [Message Body].
If set to [Text with Video], an image (JPEG format) captured just before the event will be attached.
[Copy E-mail S ettings]
Copy the e-mail settings used in [Maintenance] > [Log] > [Log Notifications] (P. 158). However, [Password] is not copied.
[Mail S erver Name]
Enter the host name or IP address of the SMTP server.
[Mail S erver Port]
Enter the port number of the SMTP server. When making email notification via SMTPS, set "465" or "587."
[ S ender (From)]
Enter the e-mail address of the sender.
[Recipient (To)]
Enter the e-mail address of the recipient.
[Authentication]
Select an authentication method suited to the destination SMTP server.
[User Name], [Password], [POP S erver]
Enter the user name and password needed for authentication, and host name or IP address of the POP server when e-
mail authentication is set to [POP before SMTP].
[User Name], [Password]
Enter the user name and password needed for authentication when e-mail authentication is set to [SMTP-AUTH].
[Verify S erver Certificate]
When making email notification via SMTPS, set whether to verify the server certificate.
Note
• To verify a server certificate, it is necessary to import the CA certificate required for verification in [Security] > [Certificate Management]
> [CA Certificate Management] in advance.
[ S ubject]
Enter the subject of the e-mail in alphanumeric characters.
[Message Body]
Enter the message body (text) of the e-mail in alphanumeric characters.
The parameter description by "%" character is possible in the text (P. 161).
[Video Record] > [E-mail Notification]
