Setting View Restrictions
Set view restriction and click [Apply] to restrict the capture range on the Camera Viewer.
Note
• To release view restriction settings, select [Disable], and click [Apply].
Operate the camera angle using the frame on the video display area or the panorama screen/full-view screen to
acquire the positions, and specify the view restriction area.
[Upper Limit]/[Lower Limit]/[Left Limit]/[Right Limit]
Operate the camera angle to the positions to be set respectively on the upper limit, lower limit, left limit, and right
limit in the video display area.
Click [Get value] in each position to reflect to the pan/tilt preview frame.
Click [Preview] individually for [Upper Limit]/[Lower Limit]/[Left Limit]/[Right Limit] ,then the preview frame will
move to the upper limit, lower limit, left limit, and right limit of the current pan/tilt preview frame respectively, and
will be displayed in the video display area.
[Telephoto]/[Wide-angle]
Operate the camera angle to the positions to be set for the wide-angle or telephoto, using the frame on the video
display area or the panorama screen.
Click [Get value] in each position to reflect the values to the wide-angle preview frame/telephoto preview frame.
Click [Preview] for [Telephoto]/[Wide-angle] individually then the preview frame will be transformed to the
telephoto/wide-angle limit of the current telephoto preview frame/wide-angle preview frame and displayed in the
video display area.
It is also possible to set the telephoto/wide-angle limit range by directly moving up and down the view restriction
operation knob on the zoom slider. In this case also, each preview frame will be transformed to the telephoto/
wide-angle limit of the current wide-angle preview frame/telephoto preview frame and displayed in the video
display area.
If the telephoto knob is dragged to the upper end and the wide-angle knob to the lower end, the view restriction is
disabled for the respective end (there is no restriction).
Drag the frames displayed on the panorama screen to transform and set the view restriction area.
Important
• If the settings for the camera installation method is changed, review the view restriction settings.
• If changes have been made to each video streams in [Video] > [Video], review the view restriction settings.
• When [Video] > [Picture (Option)] > [Camera Control] > [Digital Zoom] or [Image Stabilizer] (
) is changed, check the view
restriction settings again.
