Executes memory card format set in the camera and re-creates the recorded video management file. It is also possible to
see the status of the memory card.
For video recorded in the memory card setting, refer to [Video Record] > [Memory Card Recording] (P. 99).
Memory Card Operations
The items will change depending on the memory card status (unmounted/mounted).
The memory card will be automatically mounted when inserted into the memory card slot. It will also be automatically
mounted if it has been inserted in the camera when the camera starts up.
[Mount/Unmount]
Click [Unmount] to unmount the memory card.
Be sure to unmount the memory card when turning off the power of the camera or removing the memory card.
In the unmounted status, click [Mount] to mount memory card.
[Format]
Click [Exec] to format the memory card.
Formatting erases all files and directories on the memory card.
Note
• Formatting is performed using a quick format.
[Recreate Video Management Information]
If [Exec] is clicked, the management file on the memory card for recorded video will be recreated.
The memory card cannot be accessed during this process. It is also recommended that users refrain from streaming video
or uploading from the camera during the recreation.
When recreating video management information files, the more files recreated, the longer the process will take; it may
require several hours.
Memory Card Information
Displays the same information as [Video Record] > [Memory Card Recording] > [Memory Card Information] (P. 101).
[System] > [Memory Card]
Important
• Be sure to perform the unmount process when turning off the power of the camera or removing the memory card. Failing to unmount
first may result in management file problems or the memory card becoming inaccessible. Able to use the Camera Management Tool to
batch mount/unmount memory cards from multiple cameras.
