Settings for uploading video via FTP or HTTP when an event is triggered.
Video Record Settings
When an event is triggered, it possible to set whether to upload the camera video via FTP or HTTP or to record to a memory
card.
This can also be set in [Video Record] > [Memory Card Recording] (P. 99) and will be reflected in [Video Record Settings]
here. A video type different from [Video Type] in [Video Record] > [Memory Card Recording] cannot be set.
[Video Record Action]
Select [Upload] to upload video.
[Video Type]
Select the video to be used for uploading from the video streams set in [Video] > [Video].
General Upload
Set the upload method and video format for upload.
[Upload]
Select whether to upload via FTP or HTTP.
[Video Record] > [Upload]
Important
• For using the upload function, the following settings are required according to each event.
– [Video Record] settings in [Event] > [External Device] (P. 122), [Timer] (P. 125) and [Linked Event] (P. 128)
– [Video Record] settings in [Detection] > [Audio Detection] (P. 105)
– Settings in the [Event] tab of the Intelligent Function (P. 119).
• When the upload function is running, do not change the settings in the Settings page. Doing so may stop the operation.
• When using both uploading via FTP or HTTP and e-mail notification by text and video, set the video stream to be selected in [Video
Type] to a small size.
• When the camera is set to upload or send e-mail notification continuously, it may not be possible to send all videos or e-mails
depending on the video size and the network condition to the server.
Important
• For setting H.264/H.265 video, it is necessary to set in [Video] > [Video] (P. 58) as follows.
– [Frame Rate (fps)]: Other than [60] and [50]
– [Bit Rate Control]: Only [MBR] or [CBR]
– [Maximum Bit Rate (kbps)], [Target Bit Rate (kbps)]: [8192] or less
– [I Frame Interval (sec)]: either [0.5], [1], or [1.5]
