NOTE: 

If the rollers of the ITB Unit (see the figure below) are soiled, follow the cleaning procedure shown below to 

clean the whole circumferences of the rollers. 

 

[The roller to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and dry lint-free paper] 

- 1 Primary Transfer Roller [1] 

 

[The rollers to be cleaned with dry lint-free paper] 

- 1 Secondary Transfer Inner Roller [2] 

- 1 ITB Drive Roller [3] 

 

[The rollers to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and lint-free paper moistened with alcohol] 

- 1 Steering Roller [4] 

- 4 ITB Slave Rollers [5] 

 

CAUTION: 

-  Rotate the rollers  in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below, and clean them in the vertical 

direction. 

 

- When cleaning the Primary Transfer Roller, make sure to remove the ITB static eliminator from the edge of 

primary transfer roller unit. 

 

- After cleaning, remove the paper you placed, and discard the toner according to the specified method.
