<Detailed work procedure>

CAUTION:

When replacing the Fixing Roller, replace the 2 Fixing Roller Bearings and 2 Fixing Roller Insulating Bushes at

the same time.

1) Open the Front Left Cover and the Front Right Cover.

Replacement Procedure

2) Pull Out Fixing Feed Unit.

3) Open Fixing Upper Unit.

4) Remove the Fixing Roller Unit.

5) Remove the 2 Fixing Roller Bearings, 2 Fixing Roller Insulating Bushes, and Fixing Roller.

- 2 C-rings

- 1 press grounding plate

- 1 fixing gear (with key material)

6) Assemble a new Fixing Roller, 2 new Fixing Roller Bearings, and 2 new Fixing Roller Insulating Bushes

together with the parts removed in step 5 in reverse order.

CAUTION:

Remove paper wrapped around the new Fixing Roller after installing the Fixing Roller to the Fixing Assembly.

7) Install the removed parts in reverse order.
