Shield terminal:
Connect the open end of the ready-to-connect breakout cable with the terminal
block. Refer the pushed-back cable shield extensively to the potential of the
control cabinet’s rear wall, that is ground, by means of a shield terminal that
matches the shield bar. An important point is the low-impedance connection of
the DIN rail with conductive coating to the rear wall of the control cabinet.

Shield system HNC100
Connect the cable shields to the HNC100 housing using the HD-SUB connector.
The connection to the rear wall of the control cabinet is made via the housing and
the DIN rail. Use metallized D-Sub connector housings. The cable shield must be
pushed back and clamped under the strain relief. See Figure below.
