Fig. 79: Representation of digital I/O in “Measurement”
These are the signals of all digital inputs and outputs of slot card 1 in the form of a
data word. This data word is shown in WinView as illustrated in Fig. 63. Each pin of
slot card S1 can be displayed as individual variable. Bits 0 to 3 refer to inputs IN 1 to
4 and bits 5 to 10 to outputs OUT 1 to 7.
S1 stands for slot card 1, AI for analog input, V1 for voltage input 1 and W for the
representation as normalized value in units.
S1 stands for slot card 1, C1 for current input 1. The values are given as current
values in mA without normalization.
ENC stands for digital encoder. The other abbreviations correspond to those
described under analog inputs above. S1 stands for slot card 1 and W for the
representation as normalized value in units.
9.3.5 Data transmission
Parameter data transmission over Profibus
How to set up the data transmission over Profibus is described in the help on the
HNC Bus manager in WIN-PED®. This description explains on the basis of examples
how the individual field buses must be configured and commissioned. As default
configuration, we implemented the Profibus protocol in the HNC project made
available to you. It is possible to transmit data during a cycle. The data are, however,
only taken over after the cycle is completed.
