Adhere to the technical data and ambient conditions provided in the product
documentation.

If unsuitable products are installed or used in safety-relevant applications,
unintended operational states may occur in the application that can cause personal
injury and/or damage to property. Therefore, use the product only in safety-relevant
applications such as in explosion protection areas or in safety-related parts of a
control (functional safety), if this use is expressly specified and permitted in the
documentation.

You may commission the product only when it has been established that the final
product (for example, a machine or system), in which the Rexroth products are
installed, complies with national regulations, safety regulations and standards
relevant for the application.
2.6 Product-specific safety instructions
WARNING
Great weight and sharp edges of the punching axis!
SYEPS punching systems are heavy (>100 kg). If handled improperly, they can
fall down and cause serious injuries or crushing, because the parts can be, for
example, sharp-edged, heavy, oily, loose or unhandy.

Transport the SYEPS punching system using suitable lifting gear at the points
provided for this purpose.
▶
Ensure that the unit is in a stable position when being transported to the place
of installation.
▶
Wear personal protective equipment when transporting and installing the
punching system.
▶
Observe national laws and regulations for accident prevention and safety and
health at work during transport.
Improper mounting!
Mounting the punching system with mounting screws of reduced strength, improper
mounting or insufficient stability of the mounting surfaces can cause the punching
system to loosen or fall down. As a result, hydraulic fluid may escape and cause
personal injury and damage to property. Punching systems of a great mass can
cause crush injuries or kill people.

Mount the punching system completely in accordance with the installation
instructions using suitable mounting equipment.
▶
Mount the punching system exclusively on suitable mounting surfaces.
▶
Observe the tightening torques and bolt strengths.
