Enable input High: Activates the operating mode set in R454.
Start stroke – IN2
A rising edge at this input triggers a stroke.
When the input is High and the axis is moving, changes in position, velocity or
operating mode are not taken over.
When the input is Low and the axis has again reached POP, new position, velocity
and operating mode values can be entered. For more details, see Chapter 9.2
“Operating modes“ from page 84 onwards.
Downstroke – IN3
When this input is set, the punching axis moves to the lower positive stop. For this,
all inputs must be Low.
POP/PTE – IN4
When the input is High, the axis moves to the POP position (working position above
plate, R423), from where it performs punching strokes.
When the input is Low, the axis moves to the PTE tool change position (R422).
For the variants High and Advanced:
Valve command value – Vout1+
This output provides the valve command value – the control signal from the position
controller of the punching axis. The voltage value is ±10 V and is usually 0 V, when
the punching axis is in position in closed-loop control.
With variant “Standard”:
Valve command value – Vout1+
This output provides the control signal for the high-response valve 4WEH10.
There are two modes:
a) Open-loop-controlled operation. In this case, the signal can be 10 V - in
this case the cylinder moves upwards at max. velocity or it amounts to -10 V. The
cylinder then moves downwards at max. velocity. When the output is 0 V, the
cylinder comes to rest at the current position.
b) Closed-loop-controlled operation. In this operational state, a PWM signal is
output which causes the cylinder to approach a position “in steps”.
For all variants:
Command value of high-pressure pump – Vout2+
This voltage output provides the pressure command value for the high-pressure
pump in the power unit. The voltage signal is fed to the command value input of the
VT-MSPA1-3X valve amplifier of the ER high-response valve of the pump. The voltage
values range between 0 and +10 V. Typical values are 3.9 V for 80 bar or 7.0 V for
290 bar.
Position PTE reached – OUT1
This output changes over to High, when the actual position value is within the
position window of the axis’ PTE position.
