Filling the power unit with hydraulic oil
Use only HLP 46 as described in data sheet 30200. Proceed as described in the
section “Filling in oil“ on page 112.
8.1.7 Commissioning the power unit
▶
Switch the HP and LP pump to stand-by pressure by opening the switches “LP
on“ and “HP on“.
As a result, the command value for the valve amplifier modules of the ER
pressure control valves on the pump becomes 0 V.
▶
Let the motor start up in the star mode and only change over to delta after about
10 seconds.
The high pressure (HP) and low pressure (LP) pressure gauges must indicate
≈30 bar.
8.1.8 Setting high pressure (HP) and low pressure (LP)
Before setting the pressures, let the power unit warm up. For warming up, switch
the power unit on and activate the LP and HP command values. Then de-energize the
accumulator discharge valve item 1.170 and let the power unit run for about 20 min.
1.
Set parameter R522 “HPmin command value” to 3.000 Volt.
2.
Turn the LP potentiometer to min. voltage ≈2.5 Volt.
3.
Close switches “LP on“ and “HP on“.
HP and LP will rise from 30 bar to ≈60 bar.
4.
Increase the voltage on the LP potentiometer until the LP pressure gauge
indicates 80 bar.
The low pressure is now correctly set and the potentiometer should be sealed in
this position.
5.
Increase the value of parameter R522 “HPmin command value“ until 85 bar
is shown on the HP pressure gauge (≈3.9 Volt). Note this value as “HPmin
command value” so that you can enter it again in this R parameter R522 at a
later time.
6.
Increase the R522 value further until 290 bar (≈7.0 Volt) is shown on the HP
pressure gauge. Note this value as “HPmax command value” and enter it in
R parameter R521.
7.
Enter the value of “HPmax command value” noted in step 5 in R parameter R522.
The HP and LP command values are now correctly set. They may slightly drift
due to thermal conditions and may have to be readjusted. To this end, steps 1
and 4 to 7 must be repeated.
1.
Turn the LP potentiometer to min. voltage ≈2.5 Volt.
2.
Set the parameter R522 “HPmin command value“ to 3.000 Volt.
3.
Close switches “LP on“ and “HP on“.
HP and LP will rise from 30 bar to ≈60 bar.
4.
Increase the value of R parameter R522 “HPmin command value“ until 85 bar
is shown on the HP pressure gauge (≈3.9 Volt). Note this value as “HPmin
