Troubleshooting 123/132
RE 30201-B/07.2014, SYEPS series 1X,
Bosch Rexroth AG
14.3 Fault table
Fault
Possible cause
Remedy
High temperatures
Reduced cooling capacity due to insufficient
air circulation at the power unit
Ensure sufficient ventilation for the power unit at
the place of installation
Continuous operation with idle strokes or
inappropriate stroke lengths
Minimize operation with idle strokes, select
suitable stroke lengths
Temperature shutdown in normal
operation while the power is
reduced and generation of noise
increased
Great leakage in the system.
Locate and eliminate leakage
Defective components
Replace defective components
Blocking and non-linear
characteristics of the high-
response valve
Contamination in the hydraulic system
Examine oil cleanliness
High-response valve damaged/defective
Test function by open-loop-controlled operation as
described in Chapter 8 “Commissioning”
Vibration on the main stage of the
high-response valve
High-response valve damaged/defective
In open-loop controlled operation, the actual valve
value provides information whether the valve is
damaged so heavily that it vibrates. If defective,
the valve must be replaced.
Excessive vibration stress on the machine
Do not exceed the permissible vibration stress
(during initial commissioning of a new machine
series, the permissible vibration should be
checked in cooperation with Bosch Rexroth).
Malfunction or destruction of
electronic components
Incorrect wiring
Inspect wiring and check electrical signals with the
help of measuring equipment and the diagnosis
function of WIN-PED®. If required, replace
electronic components and correct wiring.
Punching axis does not move or
moves in an uncontrolled manner
or vibrates
Incorrect installation of electronics and wiring Check for correct installation and wiring and, if
required, correct.
Electrical signals are not received
Check electronics installation and wiring and, if
required, correct.
Loose connection at valve plug-in connector
Check mounting of plug-in connector and, if
required, re-tighten.
Inspect plug-in connector for cold solder points
and cable break. If required, install tested cables.
HNC100 not ready for operation
Check that the HNC100 is properly connected and
switched on.
Incorrect gas pressure in the hydraulic
accumulator
Check gas pressure (see page 123)
Improper operation of the high-response valve Test function of the high-response valve in open-
loop-controlled operation with the HNC100 or
VT-VET-1.
If the high-response valve properly follows the
valve command value with both, a small valve
aperture (slow traversing) and large aperture (fast
traversing), the valve is ok.
Check and, if required, correct, connection cables.
Accumulator discharge valves not closed
Check accumulator discharge valves and close
them, if open.
Accumulator charging valve is not actuated
properly
Check function and actuation of the accumulator
charging valve.
