The Baud Rate matches the SCAN-LAN VI serial output baud rate with that
of the printer or PC. The default setting is 9600 baud, which is the most
common serial-printer input baud rate.

• Set dial to SETUP.

• Highlight Baud Rate using the arrow keys.

• Press DEC (F2) to decrease the baud rate.

• Press INC (F3) to increase the baud rate.

Flow Control determines what method is used to control data flow between
the SCAN-LAN VI and the printer or PC. The default setting is the
HARDWARE flow control setting. Other available settings are:
XON/XOFF, and NONE.
