Dolby volume
Dolby Volume è una tecnologia
nuova e sofisticata che consente
di risolvere il problema dei diversi
livelli di volume tra il contenuto del programma (ad
esempio, un programma televisivo e le interruzioni
pubblicitarie) e tra le sorgenti (ad esempio, una stazione
radio rock e DVD, o tra due stazioni televisive).
Consente l'ascoltatore di godere di tutto allo stesso
livello di ascolto preferito, senza dover utilizzare il
controllo del volume per compensare i diversi livelli di
registrazione/uscita. Questa è la funzione Livellatore
Volume di Dolby Volume.
Volume Dolby funziona anche in combinazione con il
controllo del volume dell'AVR850/AVR550/SR250 per
compensare il cambiamento di sensibilità dell'orecchio a
frequenze differenti a seconda di quanto è forte l'audio.
Esso è basato su un modello di come funziona l'udito
umano. Equilibra correttamente frequenze basse, medie
e alte per mantenere tutte le sfumature e l'impatto del
l'audio originale, indipendentemente dal livello effettivo
del volume di riproduzione selezionato. Questa è la
funzione Modellatore Volume di Dolby Volume.
Dolby Volume misura, analizza e mantiene i livelli di
volume basati su come le persone percepiscono il suono.
Una varietà di parametri audio sono monitorati inclusa
la sonorità spettrale e basata sul tempo per garantire che
le dinamiche percepite, il timbro e le prestazioni dei bassi
rimangano coerenti a tutti i livelli di volume.
Dolby Volume permette anche all'ascoltatore di controllare
la gamma dinamica di un programma - l'intervallo tra
i suoni forti e quelli deboli. Ad esempio, con il volume
abbassato per vedere la TV in tarda serata, la gamma
dinamica può essere regolata in modo che il discorso
rimanga chiaro e gli effetti o passaggi musicali forti
conservino la loro impatto senza svegliare la famiglia.
Impostazioni
Volume Dolby può essere applicato a qualsiasi
sorgente analogica o digitale stereo o sorgente digitale
multicanale.
Non è disponibile in Stereo Direct o
sull'ingresso analogico multi-canale.
Dolby Volume può
essere applicato anche per l'elaborazione di segnali stereo
(ad esempio Dolby Surround) o quando si fa il down mix
una sorgente digitale multicanale (ad esempio, da Dolby
Digital 5.1 a stereo).
Dolby Volume può essere attivato e configurato
separatamente per ogni ingresso audio nel menù
Config ingresso. L'impostazione predefinita è 'Spento'
per l'ascolto 'audiofilo'. Si potrebbe desiderare di
mettere Dolby Volume su 'Acceso' per le sorgenti
TV e film per mantenere la percezione dello stesso
livello generale di ascolto e risposta in frequenza tra
le sorgenti indipendentemente dalla regolazione del
volume. La maggior parte dei parametri di controllo di
Dolby Volume sono automatici in quanto dipendono
dall'analisi del segnale audio e l'impostazione del volume
dell'AVR850/AVR550/SR250. Tuttavia, i controlli
Livellatore Volume e Offset di Calibrazione (vedi sotto)
possono essere regolati secondo le proprie preferenze.
Livellatore Volume
La funzione Livellatore Volume di Dolby Volume
controlla quanto strettamente si fanno corrispondere
sorgenti e contenuti del programma a basso e alto
volume, sulla base di percezione dell'orecchio della
sonorità. La gamma di valori va da 0 (minimo
di livellamento) a 10 (massimo di livellamento).
L'impostazione predefinita è 2. Se la funzione
Livellatore Volume è disattivata, non viene eseguita
nessuna corrispondenza di livello tra le sorgenti e il
materiale del programma. Questa non è la stessa cosa
di spengere Dolby Volume poiché l'elaborazione della
risposta in frequenza relativa al volume è ancora attiva.
Quando Dolby Volume viene applicato all'ingresso
corrente, un indicatore di modalità di elaborazione
Volume Dolby viene mostrato sull'OSD e sul display del
pannello anteriore.
Offset di calibrazione
Il parametro Offset di calibrazione del Dolby Volume
consente di compensare l'efficienza dei diffusori e la
posizione di ascolto - di fatto spostando il livello di
ascolto di riferimento su o giù nella scala del volume.
Il valore predefinito è 0, e questo dovrebbe di norma
produrre un buon risultato quando i livelli dei diffusori
dell'AVR850/AVR550/SR250 vengono impostati
utilizzando un misuratore di livello di pressione sonora
nella posizione di ascolto (75dB SPL, ponderazione 'C',
risposta lenta).
uso del
sintonizzatore
L'AVR850/AVR550/SR250 è dotato di moduli ricevitori
di radio FM e DAB (radio digitale). Le trasmissioni
DAB non sono disponibili in tutte le località.
Questa sezione si occupa del funzionamento del
sintonizzatore, per informazioni su come configurare il
sintonizzatore e installare le antenne, vedere pagina IT-13.
Quando un ingresso del sintonizzatore viene
selezionato, il menu OSD mostra un elenco di stazioni
radio più un pannello informativo che fornisce tutte
le informazioni disponibili sulla frequenza (per FM) o
stazione attuale (per DAB).
Anche il pannello anteriore darà le stesse informazioni,
premendo il tasto
INFO
si scorrerà attraverso le varie
informazioni:

Selezione sintonizzazione/canale
Quando si passa alla sorgente
TUNER
interna, l'AVR850/
AVR550/SR250 va nell'ultima banda utilizzata
del sintonizzatore, sia essa FM o DAB. Premendo
ripetutamente il tasto
RADIO
si passa attraverso le bande
disponibili sul sintonizzatore dell'AVR850/AVR550/
SR250.
Radio analogica FM
Sintonizzazione della frequenza sulla radio FM viene
fatta usando i pulsanti
<
e
>
sul telecomando in
modalità dispositivo
TUN
. Pressioni individuali spostano
la frequenza verso il basso e l'alto di un passo. Se si tiene
premuto uno dei due pulsanti di sintonizzazione per
due secondi, il sintonizzatore effettua una scansione fino
al prossimo segnale forte. È possibile interrompere una
scansione in qualsiasi momento premendo di nuovo
uno dei pulsanti di sintonizzazione.
In Europa, la radio FM interna è in grado di ricevere
segnali di testo radio RDS (Radio Data System) che
vengono trasmessi da alcune stazioni. Le informazioni
RDS includono in genere il nome della stazione
radio, il genere di musica o parlato, nonché ulteriori
informazioni relative al programma corrente. Sulle
stazioni di musica queste sono spesso informazioni
sulla traccia in riproduzione.
Radio digitale DAB
La radio Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) sta
diventando sempre più ampiamente disponibile.

È necessario eseguire la scansione delle stazioni
disponibili prima di essere in grado di ascoltarle.
Per eseguire la scansione delle stazioni DAB, prima
selezionare il sintonizzatore DAB quindi tenere premuto

fino a quando il display indica che la scansione è
stata avviata. L'AVR850/AVR550/SR250 quindi farà la
scansione di tutte le frequenze radio DAB e compila un
elenco delle stazioni che sono disponibili.
Quando la scansione è completata, è possibile
scorrere la lista delle stazioni utilizzando i tasti

del telecomando CR450. Per ascoltare la stazione
attualmente visualizzata, premere il tasto

. Se non
si preme

entro due secondi, il display torna a
visualizzare la stazione attualmente in riproduzione.

Salvataggio e richiamo stazioni
preimpostate
La selezione delle stazioni pre-memorizzate utilizza i
tasti

Fino a 50 preset possono essere memorizzati e possono
essere di qualsiasi banda, per esempio Preset 1 potrebbe
essere una stazione FM, preset 2 una stazione DAB,
ecc... Premendo il tasto

si provoca la visualizzazione
del successivo numero di preselezione disponibile,
quindi premendo nuovamente il tasto
OK
si memorizza
la frequenza/canale corrente in quel preset. Se è
richiesto un numero di preset diverso, premere i tasti

fino a quando il numero desiderato viene
visualizzato prima di premere il tasto

seconda volta.
Eliminazione di preset
Quando si è in modalità di ricerca di sintonizzazione
(utilizzando

per scorrere tra i preset),
il pulsante giallo sul telecomando è utilizzato per
eliminare la stazione e la frequenza attualmente
evidenziata (ma non riprodotta).
Dolby atmos
Dolby Atmos®
per impianti
domestici
rappresenta ogni suono dell'originale mix
cinematografico come oggetto audio. Estensioni ai
CODEC Dolby Audio™, insieme a sofisticati algoritmi
scalabili, permettono al sistema di leggere i formati
Dolby Atmos nei dischi Blu-ray Disc e in streaming
multimediali. I sistemi AVR850/AVR550 dotati di
tecnologia Dolby Atmos, rendono le prestazioni del
proprio impianto home theatre, grazie all'uso di un
massimo di 12 canali, paragonabili a quelle dei cinema
(per configurazioni maggiori di 8 canali, sarà necessaria
ulteriore amplificazione di potenza), riproducendo al
meglio l'esperienza artistica dell'opera originale.
Configurazione dei diffusori Dolby Atmos
Con la tecnologia Dolby Atmos, si hanno a
disposizione due opzioni di base per la gestione
dei suoni sopraelevati:

Diffusori a soffitto
<
Diffusori con capacità Dolby Atmos
Il sistema AVR850/AVR550 supporta fino a quattro
diffusori a soffitto o con capacità Dolby Atmos. Se
il sistema ne usa solo due, essi vanno collocati al
centro tra lo schermo e la posizione di ascolto; se
ne sono in uso quattro, essi vanno collocati proprio
di fronte allo schermo e di fronte alla posizione
di ascolto. Per sistemi con configurazione 5.1.2,
i canali 6 e 7 dell'AVR850/550 possono essere
utilizzati come canali del diffusore di altezza 1.
Diffusori a soffitto
I diffusori a soffitto vi sono montati direttamente, come
mostrato nel seguente esempio 7.1.4.
Diffusori con capacità Dolby Atmos
I diffusori con capacità Dolby Atmos sono
appositamente progettati per dirigere il suono verso
l'alto, in modo che esso venga riflesso dal soffitto,
per ricreare in maniera incredibilmente realistica gli
effetti sonori sopraelevati. I diffusori con capacità
Dolby Atmos sono disponibili in due versioni:

Unità integrate, che comprendono anche
diffusori tradizionali con emissione sonora in
avanti.

Moduli aggiuntivi, che contengono solo
elementi con emissione sonora rivolta verso
l'alto, da collocare sopra gli altri diffusori o su
una superficie ad essi adiacente.
