Check that the solenoid activates the RAVE at 0.5-sec pulse intervals.

Removing

•

Remove the fuel tank

•

Remove the battery with the battery

housing.

PARTIAL

•

Detach the protection casing (1).

•

Undo and remove both screws (2) and

collect the locking washers.

If the valve moves freely:

•

Take out the exhaust valve unit togeth-

er with the flexible cable from the cyl-

inder.

•

Turn the stem valve (3) seat by 180°

and disconnect the flexible cable (4).

•

If the exhaust valve is blocked at the

opening position (due to combustion

deposits):

•

Push the valve stem (3) housing back

with a screwdriver.

CAUTION

PAY ATTENTION NOT TO DAMAGE THE SEAL SUR-
FACE

•

Turn the stem valve (3) seat by 180°

and disconnect the flexible cable (4).

•

Remove the stem valve (3) housing

and collect the spring (6) and the gas-

ket (5).

•

Take out the exhaust valve (7) using

the specific valve extractor
