5.17 TwinTeC Special double disc coulter
The TwinTeC Special double disc coul-
ter (

funden werden. /1) is used for plough seeding
and mulch seeding.
The double disc coulters largely cut the crop
residues, clear the plant residues evenly to the
side and form a clean seed furrow.
The seed falls between the seeding discs into
the seed furrow opened by the double discs.
The double-disc coulters are supported on the
press rollers (

precisely maintain the seed placement depth.
The rubberised press rollers close the seed
furrow. The displaced soil beside the double disc
coulters is levelled by the harrow tines (
