12.5.2.1 Folding down the lay shaft
1. Switch off the control terminal.
2. Open the cover,
see section 12.4.2, page 203.

The lay shaft bearings (Fig. 256/2)
keep the lay shaft (Fig. 256/1) in work-
ing position.
3. Hold the lay shaft tightly and open all of the
lay shaft bearings (Fig. 257/1).
4. Fold down the lay shaft (Fig. 257/2) careful-
ly.
