12.5.4.2 Extending the range of the Vario gearbox
by replacing the double chain wheel
with a double chain wheel with a different number of cogs
5. Loosen the hexagon socket screw of the
eccentric disc (Fig. 305/1).
6. Turn the eccentric disc until the drive shaft is
released.

7. Remove the hexagonal bolt (Fig. 306/1).
8. Carefully pull out the drive shaft (Fig. 306/2).
9. Catch the double chain wheel (Fig. 306/3)
and replace it.
The double chain wheel with a different number
of cogs is installed in the reverse sequence.

10. Secure the double chain wheel with the
safety pin for the tube (Fig. 307/1).
