Soil tillage without seeding

WARNING

Risk of crushing between the tractor and the implement when
swivelling the seed drill over the roller.

Instruct persons to get out of the danger area between the tractor and
the implement.

8.15.1 Lifting the coulters and exact following harrow

Only seed drills without star wheel:

1. Switch off the control terminal, see the "Control terminal" operating manual.

Only seed drills with star wheel:

2. Move the star wheel to transport position,

see section Star wheel – Working and
transport position, page 152.

If the star wheel remains in the star wheel

arm, it can touch the ground. Ground con-
tact activates the seed metering unit.
