8.13 Moving the tramline marker into working/transport position
WARNING
Direct people out of the danger area of the hydraulically oper-
ated components.
When actuating the tractor control unit, the hydraulic cylinders of the
track markers and of the tramline marker can be actuated simultane-
ously.
8.13.1 Move the tramline marker to working position

1. Position the implement on the field.
2. Secure the track disc carrier (Fig. 211/1).
3. Withdraw the pin (Fig. 211/2).
The pin is secured with a spring cotter pin
(Fig. 211/3).
4. Swivel the track disc carrier into working
position.

5. Fix the track disc carrier in working positi-
on using a pin and secure it.

6. Set the tramline counter to "0".
7. Lower the track discs.
7.1 Actuate the tractor control unit (yel-
low).
8. Apply the parking brake, switch the motor
off and remove the ignition key.
9. Undo the bolt (Fig. 213/1).
10. Set the track disc such that it marks the
tramline created by the tramline coulters.
11. Adjust the work intensity to the soil by
rotating the disc.
Adjust the discs to run roughly parallel with
the direction of travel on light soils, and
with more grip on heavy soils.
12. Tighten the bolt (Fig. 213/1).
