5.13.2 Calibration - Implements with electric seeding shaft drive
When calibrating the seed rate, the later field pass is simulated by rotating the seeding shaft. The
seeding shaft is driven by an electric motor. For a more detailed description on the calibration of the
seed rate, refer to the "ISOBUS Software" operating manual.
The "Calibration" menu requests the entry of the
total volume [cm
3
] of all metering wheels on the
implement. Take the value from the table (Fig.
70). You can also find the table in the control
centre.

(A) Number of seed rows on the seed drill
(B) Seeding with fine metering wheels
(C) Seeding with coarse metering wheels
(D) Seeding with bean metering wheels
(E) Total volume V [cm 3 ] of all metering wheels.

The calibration is started by pressing

the button on the control terminal
in the tractor cab or

the calibration button
in the control centre or

the button on the TwinTerminal
in the control centre.
The calibration button (Fig. 71) and the button on
the TwinTerminal must be kept pressed during
the entire calibration procedure.
When calibration is finished, the metering wheels
automatically come to a standstill.
