Representation of safety symbols 

Safety instructions are indicated by the triangular safety symbol and the highlighted signal word. The 
signal word (DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION) describes the severity of the risk, and carries the fol-
lowing meaning: 

 

DANGER 

Indicates an immediate hazard with high risk, which will result in 
death or serious bodily harm (loss of limbs or long-term harm), if 
it is not avoided. 

If the instructions are not followed, then this will result in imme-
diate death or serious physical injury. 

 

 

WARNING
