7.12.5 Importing backup data
The data stored in the welding power source is overwritten by the backup data import. If necessary, save
this data prior to conducting the import.

Set the main switch to <I>.

Insert the USB storage device into the USB port on the
control panel.

Press the <Safe> button.
The LED above the <Safe> button illuminates.

Twist the <Parameter setting> knob until <USB> appears
on the left-hand digital display.

Twist the <Parameter setting> knob counterclockwise until
the desired data backup is displayed.
— 1 = welding parameters
— 2 = internal function settings
— ALL: data backup 1 to 2

Press the <Safe> button.
The LED above the <Safe> button flashes.
7
Press <Enter>.
The data import starts.
The right-hand digital display changes during the data
backup.
Once the data backup is complete, "End" appears on the
right-hand digital display.
