Description
0
0
Weld start
The value 1 signals that the welding start mode is active.
Has no effect when wire feed or wire retraction are
performed.
0
1
Wire feed
The value 1 signals that the wire feed or wire retraction
mode is active. If wire feed and wire retraction are set to
1, no process is performed. Wire feed and wire retraction
are not performed when the welding start mode is active.
0
2
Wire retraction
0
3
Gas flow
The value 1 signals that shielding gas rinsing is active.
Shielding gas is discharged at the start of welding
regardless of whether gas discharge is activated/
deactivated.
0
4
Component search
The weld detection function with an auxiliary current is
activated when this value is set to 1. Has no effect during
weld start. In addition, the weld start has priority over the
component search.
After the welding process is complete, the function is used
to detect burned-on wire.
0
7
Watchdog
Used as a watchdog signal. This bit must alternate
between 0 and 1 every 0.5 seconds. If the watchdog
signal is not active, only operating stop data is accepted.
If this bit does not change for more than 1 second, a
device fault stop occurs. If the watchdog signal is not
active when the welding machine is started or when the
welding machine is restarted after a fault stop, the
welding machine issues a warning and no new fault stop
occurs. The warning is canceled when the watchdog
signal is active again.

7
Operation stop/
reset fault
The value 1 indicates that the operation of the device has
been stopped and the fault code is reset with E 000.
When 1 is reset to 0, faults and warnings are cleared and
operation of the device continues. Device system faults
and control voltage errors cannot be reset. In such cases,
the power supply to the device must be switched off and
on again.

Save location number
for welding condition
(job memory)
Is set if the memory function for welding conditions
(job memory) is used.
7.9 Managing the job memory on page EN
If this function is not used, the value is set to 0.
By setting a save location number for welding conditions
that is between 1 and 100, the corresponding stored
welding condition of that number is set to the input data
from offset 4 to 29. The stored welding condition can be
checked, but this does not load it.
By setting the save location number to 0, the input data
from offset 4 to 29 is reset to the currently activated
setting.
