F6: setting the rise time
If the difference between the start welding parameters and the main welding parameter is very large, the
welding wire may burn back too much when the parameter is changed. In this case, the transition time from
the start welding parameters to the main welding parameter can be extended.
F7: setting the decay time
If the difference between the main welding parameters and the end crater filling parameter is very large,
the welding wire may be immersed in the melt when the parameter is changed. In this case, the transition
time from the main welding parameter to the end crater filling parameter should be extended.
F8: setting the display hold time
The welding current and welding voltage are displayed blinking in the left and right digital display after
completion of the welding process.
F10: wire feeder motor overload detection
In the event of clogged or faulty wire guides or poor wire quality, wire feed problems can occur. The wire
feed rolls do not run evenly. This can be detected by monitoring the wire feed motor current.
The warning level is factory set to 70% of the normal (continual) motor current of 2.8 A. If this value is
exceeded, the error "E-820" is displayed at the end of the welding procedure. The welding procedure can
be restarted despite the error.
