7.12.2 Simplified data log function
The welding power source’s status can be monitored using a computer by sampling values and saving these
to a USB storage device. The information is solely recorded on the connected USB storage device. The
simplified data log cannot be stored as a backup. It is deleted when the device is switched off. The simplified
data log cannot be exported even if a fault code is displayed on the left and right digital displays. In such
cases, save the data before switching off the welding power source.
Only three of the following data types can be sampled at a time:
— Welding current (set value)
— Welding current (current value)
— Welding voltage (set value)
— Welding voltage (current value)
— Wire feed speed (set value)
— Wire feed speed (current value)
The data type and sampling speed must be specified using the internal functions F52/F53 (data log
function).
The simplified data log is stored under the path "BINZEL_iROB_WELDING\DAT\DAT00001". A .CSV file
is stored for every welding process.
If the path "BINZEL_iROB_WELDING\DAT\DAT00001" already exists, the folder "DAT00002" is stored
under "BINZEL_iROB_WELDING\DAT\". This occurs with a sequentially increasing number for each
simplified data log.
Example:
If the internal function F52 has been set to "1" (values determined for the welding current, welding voltage
and wire feed speed) and F53 has been set to "1" (100 ms), the data will be output as follows:
The amount of time that can be used for the recordings depends on the sampling speed. If the sampling
speed is set to 100 ms, data can be recorded for about 5 hours. Once the memory capacity has
been exhausted, the data is overwritten starting with the oldest data. Data is only recorded during the
welding process.
7.12.3 Fault log function
The last 10 fault codes can be recorded. The date and time of the fault’s occurrence are not recorded.
The fault log is stored in the file "BINZEL_iROB_WELDING_ABN.CSV". The value furthest to the left
represents the last fault message.
