F23: setting the time period until stand-by mode

If the device is not used for a longer period of time, it can be automatically switched to stand-by mode. Power 
consumption is reduced. When in stand-by mode, a dot blinks in both digital displays. All other displays and 
operations are switched OFF. Any operation terminates stand-by mode and the device returns to normal 
mode.

F24: setting the wire feed speed

ON function:

The welding current is automatically set as appropriate for the wire feed speed, even if the welding 
procedure is changed via the <Shielding gas type> selection button. Each time the <Parameter selection> 
button is pressed, the display switches back and forth between wire feed speed and welding current. 
► Press the <Parameter selection> key and activate wire feed speed.
► Enter the value in the unit [0.1 m/min]. 
► By switching to the welding current display, it is possible to check which welding current value was 

automatically set.

The nominal wire feed speed is between 0.6 m/min. and 22 m/min. These values may differ depending on 
the welding process.

OFF function:

The wire feed speed is automatically set as appropriate for the welding current, even if the welding 
procedure is changed via the <Shielding gas type> selection button. Each time the <Parameter selection> 
button is pressed, the display switches back and forth between wire feed speed and welding current.
► Press the <Parameter selection> key and activate the welding current.
► Enter the value in the unit [1 A].
► By switching to the welding current display, it is possible to check which wire feed speed was 

automatically set.
