7.11 Restoring factory settings
After initialization, the welding parameters in the internal memory and the internal functions are reset to the
factory settings.
7.12 Creating a data backup
The following contents can be written to a USB storage device as a CSV file or loaded from such a device.
System requirements for the USB storage device:
— Versions 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0. Note upward compatibility.
— FAT32 formatted.
The backup data can be used for the following purposes:
— To copy the same dataset onto another welding power source
— To analyze the current curve emitted in the event of a fault
— To deal with the fault history

Set the main switch to <0>.

Press and hold the <Function> and <Shielding gas check>
buttons simultaneously and set the main switch to <I>.

Press the buttons until <End> appears in both digital
displays.
Initialization starts.

When <End> is displayed in both digital displays, set the
main switch to <0>.
The mains control LED is extinguished. The factory settings
are restored.

impact or repair work.
ABICOR BINZEL is in no way responsible for the loss or damage of electronic data or the resultant
damages.
► Always store the backup data on a second storage device or print it as a backup copy.
