Brake release tool: 3HAC081310-001
Release the brakes on the motor with the
brake release tool.

Make sure the brake release tool is
turned off.

Connect the tool to the R2.MP6
connector.

Release the brakes by pressing the
button on the tool.

Handling the tool incorrectly will cause
serious injury.
Read and follow enclosed user instructions
for the tool.

Electrical damage to the motor may occur
if 24V is supplied to the motor connector
for more than 30 seconds. Use the spe-
cified brake release tool to eliminate the
risk.

Unscrew the motor attachment screws.

CAUTION
Whenever parting/mating motor and gear-
box, the gears may be damaged if excess-
ive force is used.

Press the motor out of its position by using
the removal tool in opposite holes of the
motor.
