Explanation
Selecting the Slope
Select from the following:
• A
↑
B
↑
:
Simultaneously measures from the rising edge to the next rising edge of the
CH A input signal and from the rising edge to the next rising edge of the CH B
input signal.
• A

B
↓
:
Simultaneously measures from the falling edge to the next falling edge of the
CH A input signal and from the falling edge to the next falling edge of the CH
B input signal.
Measurement Range of the Period
Varies depending on the sampling mode.
• When in time stamp mode:
6 ns to 20 ms
• When in hardware histogram mode: 6 ns to 3.2

Continuous Measurement Conditions
When the measurement edge interval is greater than or equal to 20 ns on each channel,
measurements are made continuously.
20 ns or less

Note
•
Changing the measurement function clears the data that has been acquired to the memory up
to that point.
•
Since period A & period B measurement is not possible when the sampling mode is set to
inter-symbol interference analysis mode (ISI), Per.&Per. does not appear as a possible
selection in the Function selection menu.
