5. Test Run
Be sure to also check the following:
¦ Check the Output Current when operating the drive at the maximum load:
・
Verify that the output current does not exceed 1 50% of the drive rated current when the brake is applied and released
during both start and stop.
・
Be sure that the output current doesn't exceed the motor rated current when running continuously.
The following counter-measures can be taken when the output current exceeds the levels mentioned above:
・
Perform Auto-tuning (unless Auto-Tuning has already been performed).
・
With motor only (no mechanical connection).
・
Refer to Appendix-1, "Parameter Calculations", as well as Appendix-3, "Tuning Procedures", and then tune/set
drive parameters as indicated.
・
If there is excessive current when starting to hoist just after lowering the load while operating in V/f or Open Loop
Vector Control Modes, then adjust the setting in parameter S2 -03 ( Run Command Delay Timer (REV? FWD)). See
section 6.2.2, “Operation Command Delay Timer (Reverse? Forward)” for a detailed description of how the timer
works.
¦ If other errors occur while peforming a test run, then see the check list in Appendix-2 for appropriate counter-measures.
