5) Check that the magazine pusher valve is
ON
and the pressure is set to between 20 and
35 PSI. Note that a pressure lower than 20 PSI places a lesser load on the pneumatic
system. However, if you have magazine feed problems, increase the pressure to ensure
smooth operation. For very large case sizes, the pressure should be set slightly higher,
but should not exceed 50 PSI.
Check the ‘S’ box for Satisfactory Performance and ‘US’ box for Unsatisfactory Performance.

‘RESET’
button once.
‘READY’
appears on the display and
air pressure will now be applied to the various machine mechanism
cylinders and they move to their respective
HOME
positions.
Select either
CYCLE
mode or
JOG
mode.
If in
CYCLE
mode, press the
‘START’
button once; the feedbelts should
start oscillating.
Verify that conveyor side-belts are tracking properly. They should be
centered on the drive pulley, properly tensioned, and in reasonably
good condition.
Verify that the magazine pusher valve is
ON
, and that the pressure is
set to between 20 and 35 PSI.
CYCLE Operation:
Press the
‘SETUP’
button in the bottom right of either the
‘Main
Control’
or
‘Jog Control’
screens.
If the button reads ‘
REMOTE DEMAND OFF’
, there is no need
to press the button, as the sensor is already inactive. Press the
green
‘REMOTE DEMAND ON’
button to render the sensor
inactive. The button should now appear gray and should now
read
‘REMOTE DEMAND OFF’
.
Press the
‘MAIN CONTROL’
button and press the
‘START’
button to put the machine into
‘CYCLE’
operation.
Return to the
‘Setup’
screen and press the
‘REMOTE DEMAND
OFF’
button. The button should now appear green and should
now read
‘REMOTE DEMAND ON’
. The sensor is now active.
JOG Operation:
From the
‘Main Control’
screen, press the
‘JOG CONTROL’
button to enter into
JOG
mode.
Push the
‘MACHINE CYCLE JOG’
button for each machine
step repeatedly until the machine completes forming two cases.
Press the
‘START’
button once to enter
CYCLE
mode; the machine is
now in its
READY
state.
