38) ‘High and Low Speed Servo Settings’ Screens
On either the high or low speed settings screens, you can alter the following values, described in
detail below, for the Jaws and Forming Head servo speeds:
Jaws Homing Value, Forming Head Homing Value, as well as the Jaws Initial Speed Open and
Close, Jaws Ramp Rate Open and Close, Forming Head Initial Speed Open and Close and
Forming Head Ramp Rate Open and Close..
NOTE: Ensure that you write down the default
servo valve values for future reference.
NOTE: Only fields with blue-colored values are adjustable.
White-colored values are
determined by PLC feedback.
JAWS SPEED ADJUSTMENTS
39) ‘HOMING VALUE’ Button
To alter the jaws’ homing value, touch the blue numerals
of the
‘HOMING VALUE’
button. Touching this value will
bring up a Ten-key keyboard which can be used to
change the value. Touch
ENTER
to set the new jaw
homing value.
40) ‘Current Value’ Display
Immediately above the
‘HOMING VALUE’
button is the
jaws’
‘Current Value’
display. This value is not touch-
sensitive, but it will change automatically to display actual
real-time values from the PLC when the machine is
running.
41) ‘INITIAL SPEED (OPEN/CLOSE)’ Button
To alter the jaws’ initial opening speed, touch the blue
numerals of the
‘INITIAL SPEED (OPEN)’
button.
Touching this value will bring up a
TENKEY
keyboard
which can be used to change the value. Touch
ENTER
to set the new opening speed value.
