9.2 Installation & Commissioning
We recommend that as much site and machine preparation
as possible is carried out before installing the machine. The
machine is not suitable for outdoor use or an area where there
is the risk a water jet could be used for cleaning.
The machine should be located to allow access to the
appropriate electrical and water services with at least 100mm
(4") of free space between the rear of the cabinet and the wall
to allow for adequate ventilation of the chiller unit.
9.2.1
Connect Water
Open the machine door and ensure the power switch is
OFF
before connecting water to
the machine.
The machine should be connected to a 15mm mains water supply from a rising main or
other suitable potable water supply.
There should be a minimum mains water pressure as defined in section 8.3
Fit the supplied water filters with the sediment filter on the left.
Screw the 15mm fitting of the mains water supply hose to the rising water mains via a
stopcock. Do not reuse an old water hose. Use the new hose supplied with the machine.
Flush the mains water line thoroughly before connecting to the machine.
Screw the 20mm fitting of the mains water supply hose to the rear of the machine.
Turn on the water ensuring there are no water leaks.
9.2.2
Connecting electrical power
Switch
OFF
machine before connecting to the electrical
mains supply.
Connect the mains power cord at the rear of the machine
to an RCD protected mains supply and switch the On/Off
switch to
ON
to initiate power to the machine.
9.2.3
Check for Leaks
Check for leaks during the first few test vends of the machine.
9.2.4
Flush water filters
On first install new water filters will have to be fitted and
flushed prior to use.
Connect the water filters with the sediment filter on the left
and the micro plastic filter on the right. Press the flush water
button on the back of the door as many times as required to
fill and flush the water system, repeat the process until the
water runs clear and all air is eliminated from the water
system. After commissioning it may take the refrigeration
system 15 minutes to reach the correct operating
temperature.
