If the alarm is for a failed sensor, an alarm message appears in the first line of the loop display, as
shown in Figure 4.5.

How to Acknowledge an Alarm
To acknowledge a process alarm, failed sensor alarm or system alarm, press
x
. If there are
other loops with alarm conditions, the alarm display switches to the next loop that has an alarm.
Acknowledge all alarms to clear the global alarm digital output.
