OPERATION

In the following step, do not remove or loosen
any other bracket screws or the LSR will have to
be completely realigned.

12. Remove two screws securing azimuth LSR drive channel to azimuth
bearing. Set drive channel aside being careful not to lose coupling
clamp.
13. Using a come-along, a crane, or other means, hook onto the azimuth
drive pivot frame assembly and take the weight off the attachment
bolts.
CAUTION

Do not allow the weight of the pivot frame to be
completely taken by the free end of the azimuth
actuator or damage to the actuator may occur.

14. Keep tension on lift cable while removing four remaining bolts and
two alignment pins. The weight of the pivot frame will now be taken
by the lift cable and the azimuth actuator.
15. Manually run azimuth actuator to move the pivot frame to new sector
position. It will be necessary to guide it along with slaver bars or
guide pins to get it into position. During this procedure, there will be
no azimuth readout information available at the antenna position
controller.
16. When pivot frame approaches new position, insert alignment pins and
all accessible bolts in the holes. Jog azimuth drive as necessary to
bring pivot frame into position.
17. Tighten all accessible bolts securing pivot frame to mount.
18. Unhook lift cable from pivot frame.
19. From underneath at azimuth LSR location, remove two bolts from
azimuth bearing at new location for LSR channel and install these
two bolts in holes where channel was previously attached.
