1.0 SCOPE
This specification serves as a consolidated final report of field mechanical alignment and test data. Each successive item
depends on proper completion of previous items. Each item should be performed and verified in the order listed as the
earth station is erected, so that the completed antenna will meet specifications.
Copies of this completed report are to be delivered to the customer and to the ViaSat program manager for the job.
2.0 AZIMUTH AXIS ALIGNMENT
Starret no. 98 level deviation should be 1 division (.005 inch per foot) or less across azimuth bearing while rotating
through range of azimuth travel.

3.0 ELEVATION AXIS ALIGNMENT
The height deviation of the elevation axis clevis pins should be no greater than 1/32 inch, or 1 division on Starret no. 98
level.

The elevation drive mount has been aligned and centered with respect to the elevation clevises.

4.0 HUB AND ELEVATION DRIVE ALIGNMENT
The hub and elevation drive have been installed, and elevation travel 0 through 90 degrees has been demonstrated with
no elevation drive binding. All bearing seals are in place and not torn.
