UPPER MOUNT INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Perform the following procedure to install the elevation drive
assembly. (Figure 3-1 contains installation information and Figure
3-5 provides the elevation actuator assembly information.)

ELEVATION DRIVE

INSTALLATION

1. Attach hoist to elevation drive assembly (item 9 or 24).

WARNING

__________________________________________

The elevation drive assembly weighs 4500 lbs
(2040 kg). Use extreme care when hoisting the
elevation drive assembly into position.

__________________________________________

2. Carefully, lift elevation actuator assembly until it is standing straight

up and extend actuator protection tube through slot in rotating frame
as indicated in Figure 3-1.

3. Secure elevation assembly to rotating frame mounting bracket with

two elevation drive pivot pins (item 10) and four retaining rings (item
100).

4. Remove hoist from elevation assembly.
