Remove the corners where they are exposed and fill with a very dry MICRO paste
so as not to run off forming the finishing rays of the piece. Place the pieces in place and
allow them to cure. Laminate exposed faces with 2 coats of BID. Allow healing.
Trim the spare and finishing material from the part with 100 sandpaper.

Balancing
Cut a hole about 1 inch in diameter in the front rib about 4 inches behind the leading
edge with a hole saw.
Mount the rudder on a flat horizontal surface, hinged so that it can fold down, and
balance the rudder with loose lead or small lead fragments in a paper cup attached to the
swing area as shown in the illustration below.
