inside the top coat and sand two inches wide along these lines.
If you are satisfied with the fit of the top liner, drill two small holes through both
liners near the trailing edge to position the liners during gluing.
Excavate the upper core of the spar and ribs. Mix a thick MICRO paste and pass
over the excavated material, over the top of the plywood rib and along the trailing edge.
On the top coat, wet all areas marked for bonding with resin. Reposition the top casing
using the holes as a guide. Position weights along the entire length of the ribs, spar and
leading edge. Wipe off any extruded glue material and allow to cure.
When the glue has cured, laminate 3 layers of BID on both outermost ribs
overlaying the inner surface of both coatings. Trim the corners and freely open the holes
in the inner rib where the anchor nuts are located.
Laminate 3 layers of BID on the front face of the spar overlaying the top and bottom
cladding. Apply a 6-ply rail 12 inches long by 2 inches wide in the areas of the three hinge
sections overlapping the spar by at least 1 inch. (Reference locations in drawing, and
reference wing assembly to hinge location). The hinge gusset must be centered with the
hinge location.
