The most correct geometry will be
ensured if the rudder cables are
crossed ahead of this horn, and the

shank end and
of the cable thimble. Use enough washers to avoid interference between the two. and a
large number of washers at the other end to keep the cable thimble approximately
centered.

FLAP TORQUE TUBE INSTALLATION ACTION
The drive torque tube flap is a one-piece assembly for the 4 spot plane, and it mounts
on the rear face of the rear spar perform section. This back spar should be 48 inches long
(if it was cut to final size). Mount one of the three torque tube mounting brackets (CS-23)
to each end of the spar, located 3/8 inch below the top edge, and 1inch inside the outer
edge (Reference sketch). Assemble these with just screw on top at this point in such a
way that they can line up with the mount. Screws are #10-32 flat head against sunken
screws (MS-24 694-S56), counter sink the front face of the spar in such a way that the
head of the screw does not protrude above the surface (the rear spar surface will be
screwed up tight to this surface). Using the bracket as a guide, mark and cut at least 1.25
