countersunk with countertop sink or Tinnerman washers, walnuts and elastic stop on the
inside. Check the required course, and trim any areas of interference. Check rod length
actuation for proper rudder position with rudder pedals centered. Verify that this stick and
rudder can be recycled through its full course, without interruption or undue rubbing on
any structure, and that the rudder travels in the correct direction with the control
activation.
PREPAR INNER SKINS DOOR
Select the appropriate inner door skin and prepare for assembly. Remove all
remains of shell and other layers from the molding process. Carefully sand the perimeter
of the molded part to remove any dangerously sharp edges.
Seal of the outer door perimeter according to the molded lines on the part surface.
These lines were prescribed for the mold surface and can be difficult to see. Feel with a
thumbnail and mark by a light rub with a pencil. Check with the opening door to ensure
you are not removing too much material.
Similarly trim out the window opening
Bond in 1/8 thick aluminum inserts on the inner surface at the front and rear of the
bottom of the door frame channel where the latch plungers will protrude from the door.

Locate the proper position for the lock operating handle. Scribe lines on the molds
will show the basic location for the cut inside handle. Use this location for the next steps.
